- Industry product evangelizing through trade show product demonstration and technical paper presentations.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of solid experience in the client-server computing industry
- 2+ years of system administration on various RISC UNIX, and NT platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and outgoing demeanor allowing the candidate to camouflage his/her Technical Guru status when need be.
- Experience gained in the sales side of a vendor environment would help the candidate to relate to an aggressive, goal-oriented sales force on their own terms.
- Willingness to travel 30 – 40 % of the time

Duties & Responsibilities:
In this position you will handle technology purchasing for Dynamic Network Factory internal infrastructure and for our clients' e-commerce web solutions within the Dynamic Network Factory purchasing group.
This individual will be responsible for computer and internetworking hardware and software purchasing activity. This individual will support technology purchasing for customer projects as well as for company internal technology needs.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Supplier management: pricing, supply arrangements, and T&Cs negotiation; supplier selection facilitation; supplier ranking/score carding, etc.
- Purchasing execution: Purchase requisition management; PO placement, order tracking and expediting, receiving; AP mitigation, etc.
- Inventory Management: track and manage internal inventory and external liabilities to inventory targets
- Fixed Asset Management: track computer and networking fixed assets
- License Management: purchase, administer and track software licenses
- Process Design and Implementation: work with process specialists and project managers to develop and streamline processes for the above responsibilities.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of technology purchasing experience in high tech and/or systems integration companies and a good grasp of computer and networking hardware and software products and suppliers. The candidate will have experience working direct with OEMs as well as through resellers and master distributors. Process design and systems implementation experience is highly desired, as processes and infrastructure are not fully deployed today. The ability to work hard and flexibly in a fast-moving, dynamic start-up environment is essential. This individual will need strong interpersonal and organizational skills to meet the needs of multiple internal customers. Four year college degree or equivalent.
