Dynamic Network Factory’s Genesis Series rackmount Medical Imaging Platforms are reliable, easy-to-deploy, and high performance systems. These systems are designed specifically for the healthcare field to meet physician’s needs of on-demand access to patient’s electronic medical records (EMRs) —whether they are high resolution digital medical images using PACS (picture archiving and communications systems) or patient history data.
Genesis Series Quad Medical Management Engine (QMME) offers a powerful management gateway platform for high availability (HA), redundancy, and simple integration with IP(DICOM) storage. With four (4) image management engines, surveillance administrators are able to display and manage a large number of megapixel video streams from multiple networks, without any latency or performance bottlenecks.
Each QMME gateway has integrated image storage for mission-critical image management applications. For large-scale medical environments requiring high resolution or 3D images, HA, and redundancy, the QMME platform seamlessly scales with DNF Medical’s Genesis IS IP(DICOM) storage platform for superior storage capacity.
Each fault-tolerant QMME gateway comes in a space-saving 2U Rackmount chassis with two hot-swappable drives, redundant 1400 Watt hot-swappable power supply, and an advanced cooling system. In addition, each engine features include 64-bit Quad-Core processor, up to 6GB high-speed video cache, and dual 10/100/1000 copper gigabit Ethernet connectivity.
The Genesis QMME feature open-platform architecture to ensure high performance and compatibility with leading cameras and digital video management software, enabling organizations to use their existing networking for faster deployments. The QMME incorporates storage management and gateway functionality for complete surveillance management control at your fingertips.

Input an estimate of the amount of storage you will need. Your available storage capacity will decrease depending on the RAID level you choose. Do not include hot spares in your raw storage calculation.
Input the amount of data you currently have in use. This will be used to generate an estimate on the number of disks you will need for this amount of available storage, after accounting for the RAID level.
