Dynamic Network Factory’s Genesis Series IP SAN Medical Imaging Platforms are reliable, easy-to-deploy, and high performance systems. These systems are designed specifically for the healthcare field to meet physician’s needs of on-demand access to patient’s electronic medical records (EMRs) —whether they are high resolution digital medical images using PACS (picture archiving and communications systems) or patient history data.
The Genesis-VHA SATA/SAS/SSD IP SAN Medical Imaging Platform is a high-availability cluster based SAN appliance that incorporates storage capacities of 4,000GB (4TB) to 16,000GB (16TB) with base unit and over 100TB with expansion units. High performance features include Dual Medical Management Engines(MME), 64-bit Quad-Core Architecture, up to 32GB system memory(Standard 2GB), and gigabit Ethernet connectivity with optional expansion of up to 8 gigabit or dual 10Gb ports.
This fault-tolerant Medical Imaging archival and retrieval appliance which supports Active/Active Cluster with Failover and Load Balancing, comes in a convenient, space-saving 1Ux2 Medical Management Engine(MME) and 5U Rackmount chassis with hot-swappable drives and trays, hot-swappable power supply, and an advanced cooling system. Your data is protected with your choice of RAID 0, 1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 30, 50, and 60 across sixteen hot-swappable SATA/SAS disk drives.
Genesis-VHA supports SAS and SATA drives (or SSD in expansion unit) for online transaction processing, patient database, staff email, and other core/healthcare-critical applications. It also comes with a web-based GUI for easy system managment and iSCSI support to enable connectivity to IP targets and IP SANs.
Whether you're looking for server virtualization implementations, email archiving initiatives, layered disaster recovery or business continuity planning, the Genesis-VHA Medical Imaging Platform offers redundant, active/active connectivity for appliance redundancy and increased system performance. Additionally the Genesis-VHA offers cost-effective expansion via optional Expansion Units.

Input an estimate of the amount of storage you will need. Your available storage capacity will decrease depending on the RAID level you choose. Do not include hot spares in your raw storage calculation.
Input the amount of data you currently have in use. This will be used to generate an estimate on the number of disks you will need for this amount of available storage, after accounting for the RAID level.
