Based on Industry Standard Open Platforms Each system utilizes open systems-based medical image processing and management software. By using open systems, organizations can centralize images from unlimited sources, distribute on-demand medical images over IP, manage remote archives of images and enable IP from end-to-end for efficient high resolution medical images.
Includes Hi-Definition Disks to Reduce Downtime As drives have become more complex with increasing capacities and platter densities, failure rates have increased significantly. In an effort to increase the reliability of standard disk drives, DNF developed an extensive Hi-Definition Certification testing procedure. Each drive used by DNF goes through a sophisticated and grueling 120 hour testing process, weeding out units that exhibit signal quality problems, data mismatch errors, temperature and power regulation issues, or other conditions that escaped the manufacturer’s testing process. As a result, only “Hi-Definition Certified” disks are utilized in DNF’s storage systems resulting in lower rate of drive failure and reduced hard drive related system downtime.
