One of the key features of the TaskMaster 12000 JBOD is its dual power cords. Users can plug each cord into a separate power source or UPS. If a separate Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is used with each cord, the power drawn during an electricity outage will be shared among the two UPS'. Thus, each UPS will be able to run longer before their batteries are drained than if only one UPS was used. Or, if one UPS fails for some reason, your system will still be up and running because of the second cord going to a working UPS.
