The R-Link™ 100 allows RAID subsystems and other devices with standard serial interface management ports to be remotely managed through Ethernet connectivity. A web-based graphical user interface allows users to remotely manage and configure their storage over their network. It also supports SNMP protocol. The SNMP gives users independence from the proprietary network management schemes of some manufacturers and SNMP is supported by many WAN and LAN manufacturers enabling true LAN/WAN management integration.
