The IPBank™ L-Series 401 is a high-availability 1U iSCSI appliance that incorporates Ultra320 SCSI storage capacities of 72GB to 584GB with the latest iSCSI and RAID technologies. High performance features include choice of single or dual Xeon processors, up to 12GB RAM, dual channel Ultra320 SCSI, and dual 10/100/1000 copper gigabit Ethernet connectivity. Data protection is ensured with a hardware RAID 5 controller, and all 4 disk drives are hot-swappable from the front of the unit.
Installation and setup are a breeze, allowing the IPBank L-Series 401 iSCSI appliance to be up and running in about 15 minutes after it is unpacked from the box.
Not only is the IPBank L-Series 401 iSCSI appliance great as a stand-alone iSCSI storage device, but it is also highly expandable as well. You can connect one or more direct-attached RAID subsystems to the IPBank L-Series 401 to vastly increase your available fault-tolerant storage capacities.
