What's more, the FlexStor-NAS 100SA Mini Server comes standard with a CD ROM, eliminating the hassle of trying to hook up an external CD ROM to your NAS server. Installation and setup are a breeze, allowing the FlexStor-NAS 100SA Mini Server to be up and running in about 15 minutes after it is unpacked from the box.

The FlexStor-NAS Mini Server comes standard with a hardware RAID controller, along with a choice of one or two internal disk drives for data storage. Mini Servers populated with two disk drives can be configured so that both disks are usable for data storage, or mirrored at RAID 1 to maintain maximum uptime.

All FlexStor-NAS Servers are powered by Windows Storage Server 2003 and Storage Manager. Windows Storage Server allows the FlexStor-NAS to be used as a file server, domain controller, application server, web server, name server, print server, streaming media server, and more!

Windows Storage Server 2003 includes Remote Desktop which allows system administrators to remotely manage the FlexStor-NAS Server from anywhere in the world. It also includes Volume Shadow Copy Service which makes storage and back up easier, while reducing demands on system administrators. Volume Shadow Copy technology enables you to retrieve old copies of deleted files right from your Windows desktop.
